High Point suburb that’s a comfortable distance from the action
Located 6 miles north of downtown High Point, residents of Squire Davis may have to drive outside the immediate neighborhood for eating and errands, but what’s traded in convenience comes back in the form of serenity and seclusion. “It’s quieter compared to other neighborhoods, but you still have access to busier areas in High Point and Kernersville,” says Bonnie Owens, local real estate agent with Mantle Realty and nearby resident of 12 years. Owens highlights these areas as big job centers, remarking that “many people come here for the furniture industry, which is huge in High Point.” Other buyers come for the neighborhood’s large, newly constructed, single-family homes or to be close to Piedmont Triad International Airport, which is only 11 miles to the northeast.
