Marott Woods Nature Preserve and Broad Ripple Park border the neighborhood, with a combined 161 acres of outdoor space. At Broad Ripple Park, nature lovers can hunt for wildflowers while walking through the 10-acre woods, while the health-conscious can take fitness classes like dance aerobics at the new family center, which opened in 2023. The park also allows boating and fishing on the White River. Marott Woods Nature Preserve also provides trails for meandering through the woods, where members of the Amos Butler Audubon Society lead wildflower and nature tours. The Monon Trail is a rails-to-trails route that begins in Hamilton County and connects to downtown Indy.
