San Mateo
A Midcentury modern neighborhood in North Jacksonville

The park also has a small cement path and an open green space. San Mato Elementary Park is next to, but independent of, San Mateo Elementary. It has picnic shelters and bike racks, plus lighting so folks can use the park at night. Some of the park's sports facilities include a baseball field, tennis courts and a basketball court. The San Mateo Little League typically plays on the five ball fields at the corner of Kraft and Eastport Roads.Wings at Xtreme Wings Sports Bar or taco salad at Cleo's
A little pocket of restaurants and stores is in the bend of Eastport Road and North Main Street. Xtreme Wings Sports Bar and Grille is a local family joint known for its wings and dozen-plus flavors. It also has fried staples on the menu, plenty of bar seating and TVs on nearly every wall. Stoner's Pizza Joint has build-your-own-pizzas and a "munchies" section on the menu, including breadsticks, garlic knots and spicy pep-n-rollies. Cleo's Sandwich Shop is open from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. and only takes cash. The restaurant serves burgers and sandwiches, but despite the name, it's known for having the best taco salad in town. Local stores like King Food Discount and Asian Market have goods and essentials, but big-box stores Sam's Club and Publix are 3 and 4 miles away.Hopping on Zoo Parkway and heading into downtown
