The jewel of Marble City
Nestled in the hills of Knox County, the Bearden neighborhood is a jewel in Marble City. Historic homes, as well as luxurious modern estates, line the Tennessee River and feature breathtaking views. Gated neighborhoods with excellent amenities are plentiful. Located west of Downtown Knoxville, Bearden was initially founded in the 19th century as a farming community but was developed as a suburb and commercial center during the mid-1900s. Since then, home building and businesses have flourished in the area, making it one of the most sought-after neighborhoods in Knox County along with the addition of plentiful amenities, top-ranked public schools, and a range of home sizes, styles and prices. ”Every southern city has a pocket of affluence, and Bearden is that pocket for the city of Knoxville,” says Jon Brock, a Realtor and Bearden specialist with Realty Executive Associates for over 28 years.
