Lakeline Ranch offers suburban living in Leander
Lakeline Ranch is a quiet cul-de-sac community tucked away in Leander, Texas. Built in the 2000s, Lakeline Ranch is next to the 3,000-acre master-planned development of Crystal Fall. It has easy access to shopping, dining and outdoor spaces. With light traffic, local schools and sports facilities available to the public, Lakeline Ranch has much to offer between its 600-plus houses. “Lakeline Ranch is great for someone who doesn’t need a huge master-planned community and would rather have a little larger lot and more established neighborhood,” Eleven Oaks realtor Rebecca Jacks says. “It has a little more of a community feel rather than a small city.”

Brick houses and townhomes along Osage Drive
The neighborhood features a mix of both small and larger-sized homes with brick and stone exteriors. “Floor plans are generally open, and houses are bright with many more windows than newer construction,” Jacks says. “People have pride of ownership, and very few homes are neglected.” One-story houses south of Osage Drive cost between $290,000 and $600,000, while two-story dwellings to the north are $400,000 to $750,000. Townhouses between $270,000 and $340,000 are most prevalent at Verde Ranch Loop. A few homes are also available to rent in the neighborhood between $1,700 and $2,500 a month.

Light traffic and Leander shuttle services
Osage Drive is the only entry point into the neighborhood, east and west. “There are a lot of cul-de-sacs and dead ends, so you’ll have minimal traffic through the neighborhood,” Jacks says. Leander Pickup recently expanded its pickup zone to include the neighborhood, with on-demand shuttles running 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. throughout the week and costing $1.25 per ride. The Cedar Park Regional Emergency Center sits a mile north and is open for 24 hours. The closest airport is 32 miles southeast at the Austin-Bergstrom International Airport.
Environmental factors
Residents are encouraged to get fire insurance since the neighborhood sits in an Ember Zone. Minor flooding can occur on the northern edge by Lost Mine Trail.
