Secluded homes and a quiet lifestyle in western Cowlitz County

Bunker Hill offers a quiet home base about 12 miles west of Longview. This rural neighborhood borders the Columbia River and northwest Oregon. Homes are spaced several hundred feet apart; the closest neighbors are evergreen trees. On the way into town, residents can pick up eggs and firewood from local hobby farms. “It’s a beautiful drive out there along the Columbia,” says Susan Wood, Broker at John L. Scott Real Estate with over nine years of experience. “But it’s roughly 20 minutes away from Safeway, Walmart and any box stores.”
