Gramercy Park
Colorful bungalows with Spanish influence
Gramercy Park’s gridded, sidewalk-laden streets are lined with quaint, well-manicured lawns that front ranch homes and bungalows with Spanish or mid-century modern architectural influences. One block of houses might feature a spectrum of colorful, muted hues with blues, pinks and yellow tones. Some dwellings offer carports, while others include detached garages. Square footages typically range from 1,200 to 2,000, while price tags can begin at $650,000 and rise above $925,000.Soul food at Dulan’s and M’Dears
Several fast food and local eateries line West Manchester Avenue, including the popular Tacos El Gallazo food truck. But the neighborhood staples are Dulan’s Soul Food Kitchen and M’Dears. Dulan’s, a cafeteria-style diner has been serving lunch plates and dinner plates – including the Sunda dinner special – since 1999. “M’Dears is pretty popular in this area.
