Set in the north Seattle suburbs, the city of Lynnwood values convenience and comfort equally. Outside the busy commercial areas, several suburban subdivisions lead to a laid-back environment. These parts of Lynnwood feature mixes of single-family homes built between the mid-twentieth century and today. Bungalows and ranch-style houses, as well as contemporary Craftsman and split-levels, are found in equal measure. Smaller options exist in the form of condos and townhomes. Students are split between several elementary, middle and high schools within the Edmonds School District.
