Burgreen Gin is a quiet community on the outskirts of Huntsville

Burgreen Gin is much more than a run-of-the-mill suburban Alabama community. Just 12 miles outside of downtown Huntsville, Burgreen Gin offers quiet, comfortable living on the edge of North Alabama's vast farmland, while still providing a smorgasbord of homes, thriving independent businesses and outstanding schools. Pocketed in Madison, one of the fastest-growing towns in Alabama, Burgreen Gin residents enjoy city amenities without the hubbub that comes with it.

Chain and independent eateries are abundant along County Line Road

National chain restaurants line County Line Road, but locally owned eateries steal the show. Bigfoot's Little Donuts is revered for its specialty mini donuts. Featured on Food Network's Buddy's Family Vacation, Bigfoot's Little Donuts has expanded to multiple locations after its beginnings as a small food truck. Goodland Pour House is another local favorite for its burgers and wide selection of craft beers, while the neighboring Grounded Coffee serves lattes and a variety of bakery items. Locals can gather ingredients for home-cooked meals from Publix. Kroger also sits toward the community's northside, and additional shopping options can be found 2 miles east at North Madison Corners Shopping Center.
