Evergreen-lined streets meander throughout the neighborhood, with homes tucked into pockets of woodland and around the namesake lake. The neighborhood comprises developments with townhomes, condos and single-family houses. Architectural styles are a mix, including mid-century ramblers, bi-levels and contemporary new construction. Yard sizes run the gamut from a few thousand square feet to 1/3 acre, appropriate for gardens and sitting areas, and most homes have garages. "There are opportunities to buy a house on the lakefront," Cressey says. Prices in the area range from $500,000 for a rambler and up to $1.5 million for a home on the lake or with acreage. Most homes have garages, and sidewalks are predominant throughout. The Mill Creek Town Center features over 70 stores, including boutiques, anchor stores, services and restaurants, like Azul, a Latin-inspired lounge with an extensive cocktail menu and dishes like chimichurri chicken and coconut prawns. The center also hosts events throughout the year, including a summer concert series, Kids Fest and Santa's Coming to Town.
