A planned subdivision close to Downtown Lancaster
Perched between Lancaster and the Borough of Millersville, Quaker Hills emerged as a desirable, affordable suburban neighborhood a few decades ago. The neighborhood is accessible via Millersville Pike, a quiet two-lane road that passes by tall trees, well-maintained homes and the occasional wheat field. "Lancaster offers a combination of things that draw people to stay," says Tyler Stoltz, Realtor with Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Homesale Realty, who has over seven years of experience in the industry. "People are attracted to the affordability, the different home styles, the quality of healthcare systems and the schools." Located approximately 3 miles from Lancaster's historic downtown district and on the cusp of farmland, Quaker Hills offers the conveniences of suburbia with roomy lots, quiet streets, outdoor recreation, and a CAP index crime score of 3 out of 10, compared to the national average of 4.

About 2 miles away, Freedom Memorial Park is a popular green space in the heart of Millersville. A paved walking path encircles the park, passing by a veteran's memorial, picnic areas and covered pavilions. Additional amenities include baseball fields, a playground, a basketball court and old sports courts that have been converted into a small skatepark.
