Newer homes than those found on the east side of the city

Homes are entirely on the neighborhood’s west side, separated from Minnetonka Senior High School by a central blanket of undeveloped woods. Modern townhouses are the majority, running between the mid-$600,000s and the high $700,000s. Midcentury-inspired split-levels and ranch-style houses are also available, priced between the high $300,000s and mid-$600,000s, depending on lot size and amenities. “It’s one of the newer areas in Minnetonka,” says Cassie Frick, a Realtor with Edina Realty who’s served the area since 2002. “Homes are typically built in the 1980s and ‘90s, so they’ll have more modern amenities than the midcentury houses further east.” Home values average in the low $600,000s, well beneath nearby areas like Shorewood and Sparrow.
