One of the neighborhood’s namesake parks—Franklin Park—is located in the heart of the community. This small green space has a baseball field and basketball courts. Fort Missoula Regional Park is a156-acre green space jointly operated by the city and Missoula County. Nearby hikes and mountains, such as Mount Sentinel, are just 3 miles away, offering easy access to challenging activities, whether training for a race or just looking to enjoy the great outdoors. Golf lovers will enjoy teeing off at Larchmont Golf Course, a par-72, 18-hole course known for its views of the surrounding mountains and large greens. The course is relatively flat and has short distances between greens and tees, making it popular for golfers who walk the course instead of using a cart.

Easy ways to get around Missoula
