Home to the Community Hospital of the Monterey Peninsula and the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, the neighborhood is an established community with a changing population. “We see a lot of people coming up from Silicon Valley and the Central Valley to escape, even if it’s just on the weekends,” says Laraye Sullivan of Sotheby’s International Realty, who has about a decade of experience in the area. “The prices of the properties are getting higher, but the population is probably getting younger.” The neighborhood has a CAP Index crime score of 2 out of 10 compared to the national average of 4.

Whether you like hiking, golfing, sailing or scuba diving, there’s something there.”

Del Monte Shopping Center and local dining options
