Mountain View West is situated along Route 92, also known as the El Camino Real, which is a major thoroughfare that travels through the Silicon Valley, connecting San Jose and the Bay Area. Commuters also have proximity to two train stations, including the San Antonio station and Mountain View station. “A lot of people take the train up to San Francisco,” Tomaino says. Bus services in this area are operated by the Valley Transportation Authority, and stops can be found through along many of the neighborhood's streets.
