Providence Queen of the Valley Medical Center is 4 miles north. Napa State Hospital, a psychiatric hospital that doesn’t accept voluntary admissions, is one of the area’s largest employers. The last major wildfires in the area were the Glass Fire and LNU Lightning Complex in 2020, which burned areas to the north.
