A sunny enclave in northern Naples
Life in Sun Terrace is almost as steady as the tides of the nearby Gulf of Mexico. This quiet enclave north of downtown Naples takes advantage of both its proximity to some of the city’s classic attractions, including Miramar Beach, and the beautiful Southwest Florida weather. This allows locals – human and dog – to fully enjoy the community’s walkability. “It’s a place where everybody has a dog or two,” says G. Carson McEachern, resident and treasurer of the Sun Terrace neighborhood Association. “Literally everyone is out walking their dogs day or night.” Families tend to stick around in Sun Terrace, making year-round residency more common than in surrounding neighborhoods.
Baker Park is located a few miles south of Sun Terrace and has many paths for walking.
The beaches in Naples are a great place to get some exercise.

Zoos and greenways
Recreation is guaranteed here. The neighborhood is close to Fleischman Park’s athletic facilities, including lighted volleyball courts and baseball diamonds. While the crack of the bat may be a common sound at Fleischman Park, a lion’s roar should not be cause for alarm. Just across the street, the Naples Zoo at Caribbean Gardens is the adopted home of more than 70 species of animals, with historic tropical gardens and exotic plants. The zoo is nationally accredited, and admission is free for every Collier County Resident on the first Saturday of each month. Outdoor enthusiasts can lace up their hiking boots or fasten their life jackets and head to Gordon River Greenway Park for the miles of trails and waterways that cut through the lush Florida landscape. And a day on the beach is never far as the sandy shores of Miramar Beach are just a mile away.
Guests of the Naples Zoo take a boat ride around primate island where they can see the monkeys.
Gordon River Greenway Park has miles of pathways for walking and riding bikes.
Local residents enjoy a morning warmup prior to their baseball game.

Single-family options begin at $850,000 and top out around $3 million. The Naples Mobile Home & RV Park is an alternative option for moving into the neighborhood.
