Established, easygoing neighborhood east of Nashville
Ruby red brick ranch homes offer a contrast to the lush green front lawns that make up Stanford Estates, creating a quaint feel as residents drive down the curved roads. Hugged by the historic Stones River and Lebanon Pike, the eastern Nashville neighborhood is a quiet pocket community that boasts easy access to Downtown Nashville and surrounding areas. “Stanford Estates has a nice, easygoing vibe,” says local expert and Realtor Michael Gallagher of Crye-Leike Real Estate Services. “It is an older, established neighborhood that’s being discovered by many folks.”
Traditional ranch styles from the 60s
Southern oak trees provide a canopy over the suburban neighborhood of Stanford Estates. Situated on modest properties, brick ranch styles built in the 60s line the residential blocks. New traditional custom homes are scattered in the mix, featuring colonial influences with a modern twist. “Stanford Estates doesn’t have an urban feel because of the larger lots,” Gallagher notes. “You don’t feel like you’re in a city neighborhood.” Prices typically range from $208,000 for a smaller two-bedroom, two-bathroom example to $789,000 for a new custom-built home with over 3,500 square feet and six bedrooms. The median price for real estate hovers around $435,000.
