This school is ok, foods ok, don't like most teachers, but most is ok, got $105 stolen by others students, when try to find who took it, they said "the camera was too blurry to see".

I believe McGavock is a decent school. the environment is safe and friendly with most staff and students having positive attitude however the school occasionally has problems monitoring the proper teaching methods with teachers and poor discipline action when it comes to students who misbehave. there seems to be a fight almost everyday and even though it's not the school direct problem, it has effected the learning process for most. majority of classroom expect students to learn in a linear path where they would give you information but would not specify the instruction for the assignment and wouldn't try to enforce social communication upon the students. This is not to say it's bad school, it definitely has flaws but it's proving. the clubs have definitely been one of the best factors i've seen so far and the activities the school plans show they care for the students.

I would like the teachers and administrators to be more involved with the seniors to actually apply and be ready for college. I would also like them to give students the chance to do something instead of automatically ruling them out based on grades and attendance.

I had good teachers every year, but for every good teacher I had, there were 3-4 bad teachers. The people that actually run the school care more...

This is the first year dealing with this school. The Traffic is Terrible. We live 2.8 miles from the school , and it takes almost 30 minutes to get into the parking lot and they expect everyone to be there at 7:05. It is impossible to be early.
