Named after the green space at its center, Little Acre Park attracts buyers with a relaxed lifestyle and easy access to retail hubs, eateries and New Hope staples. “New Hope is affordable, and it’s very easy to take advantage of all the Twin Cities has to offer,” says Trent Seaman, Real Estate Agent with eXp Realty. Its prime location east of U.S. Route 169 makes commutes into the Twin Cities accessible in a sought-after first-ring suburb of Minneapolis. Residents are often seen enjoying a classic breakfast from the locally-owned Egg House Cafe or cheering on the Cooper High Hawks hockey teams at New Hope Ice Arena. With a B-rated school district and nearby urban amenities, Little Acre Park checks off many boxes for buyers, all just 13 miles from downtown Minneapolis.

Ranch-styles and multi-family townhouses
Low-cost housing and mid-century ranch-style designs attract buyers to Little Acre Park. The market is “competitive due to low inventory,” says Seaman, with over four years of real estate experience in the area, “But it’s a great area for first-time buyers.” Homes sell within 26 days of being listed, faster than the national average of 45 days. Most homes were constructed in the 1960s, resulting in ranch-style, split-level and bi-level homes typical to the era. With a median sales price of $350,000, homes cost $50,000 less than the national median. Established single-family homes make up most of the stock, however, multi-family townhouses are available in the northeast corner. Prices range from $200,000 for a three-bedroom townhouse to upwards of $400,000 for a four-bedroom bi-level home.
