Those looking for a quick bite without going into downtown Norfolk can find it at Franco’s Italian Restaurant & Pizzeria—conveniently located right next to the Food Lion.

Located in the heart of Norfolk, the Bromley neighborhood is never far from the fun. Events like the annual Town Point Fall Wine Festival bring people from all over the city and beyond as visitors can taste over 200 local wines, shop for artisanal goods, and enjoy live music performances. Students in Bromley can start their academic journey at Larrymore Elementary, before moving on to Azalea Gardens Middle and finishing up at Lake Taylor High School. The schools earned Niche grades of C-plus, C, and C, respectively. Lake Taylor High is noteworthy for its recent athletic success—the football team has won the state championship three times since 2012, finishing as runners-up several times as well. The boys’ basketball team won the state title in 2018 and the Lady Titans basketball team has won two state championships in recent years too, making Lake Taylor High a great place for aspiring athletes.
