A welcoming suburban community by North Hollywood
Valley Village, located in the San Fernando Valley region of Los Angeles, has tree-shaded streets and lush foliage, offering a pleasant contrast to the fast-paced city life that lies beyond its borders. “The Village was built by workers at the movie studios back when the industry was just getting going,” says local Realtor Corrie Sommmers of Compass Real Estate. “There’s a strong sense of community, and people have always put a lot of effort into maintaining their properties.” Walking through the neighborhood, there is a strong sense of the communal spirit, and one will see neighbors chatting and children playing in the streets. Valley Village is also a low-rise community, which means the city has restrictions on building heights, ensuring the neighborhood not to be overshadowed by high-rises.

Cute area! Central to a lot and overall safe. I've lived here since moving from New York and it's a family-friendly area. I don't have kids so I can't speak on the school system but there's 3 or 4 within walking distance that all seem great.
