The Northglenn Recreation Center, a short drive away, offers fitness facilities, an indoor pool and programs for all ages, including youth sports leagues and adult education classes. Other nearby parks include Ruston Park, Pecos Park and Civic Center Park.Denver is close, but Northglenn has plenty

For groceries, residents have both King Soopers and Safeway just west of the neighborhood. The Northglenn Marketplace, just north of the area, has big-box retailers like Lowe's and Best Buy. Parry's Pizzeria & Taphouse, near Webster Lake, is known for its New York-style pizza and to Cinzzetti's Italian Market, offers a variety of Italian dishes in a buffet setting near Northglenn Marketplace. “Northglenn, especially around Hillcrest, is also home to some excellent Hispanic restaurants,” says Cardenas. “From 104th Avenue to 88th, there are several options for authentic Mexican cuisine and a couple of grocery stores, too.”Get around easily thanks to I-25
