Mosswood Park is just north of the neighborhood and sits on the site of a 19th-century Victorian mansion. Pill Hill connects residents to several modes of transportation. State Route 24 and Interstate 580 border the neighborhood, offering easy commutes by car. I-580 connects to Interstate 80 and the Bay Bridge about 2.5 miles west of the neighborhood, offering easy access to San Francisco. The MacArthur BART Station is about 1 mile north and is served by the Orange, Red and Yellow lines, providing access to Richmond, San Francisco, Walnut Creek and San Jose. Multiple bus routes also serve the area along Broadway and Telegraph Avenue, taking riders south to downtown or north to Berkeley. Bike lanes are available on many roads, and the neighborhood’s central location makes it easy to walk to nearby destinations.
