Webster has multiple bus stops throughout and is under two miles from the BART station at the Coliseum. State Route 185 runs along the neighborhood’s western border and connects commuters to the downtown centers of Oakland and San Francisco. Residents can head to Foothill Shopping Center, just two miles away, for retail shopping options. Food King is a local market that provides Webster with fresh produce and goods. There are multiple houses of worship representing different faiths in the area.

The end of an era
For years, Webster residents could hear the roar of the crowd at the Oakland Coliseum just two miles away. The stadium was home to the Oakland Raiders and Oakland Athletics for decades, however, both franchises have since moved to Las Vegas. While the Webster residents may have lost their beloved sports teams, plans to rejuvenate the district into a mixed-use commercial and residential space are underway.
Webster residents are lucky they can head to the Ring Coliseum easily and catch an A's game.
