Omaha living close to the state line
Less than half an hour from where Nebraska and Iowa meet at the Missouri River, the neighborhood of Bent Creek offers its residents quiet living in one of Nebraska’s largest cities. Almost entirely residential, Bent Creek still remains close to major thoroughfares, as a nationwide route makes up its southern boundary. Its primary draw is its highly-rated school system, which receives A grades across the board from Niche. “The location and schools are a huge draw for the area,” says Linda Moy, a Realtor with Nebraska Realty. “It’s a really nice, inviting neighborhood with close proximity to parks and walking trails, but it’ll be more of a drive to the restaurants in the area.”
