Clifton Hills' gridded streets primarily feature older cottages, bungalows and stacked ranch homes, though newer builds are also sprouting up throughout the neighborhood. An older, smaller dwelling can price between $100,000 and $200,000 while recently constructed homes with four bedrooms may range from $200,000 to upwards of $300,000. According to Barrera, Clifton Hills' housing market is relatively competitive with many homes selling between two and three weeks.

Easy access to highways with Eppley Airfield nearby
Clifton Hills is walkable, though locals will still need a car for longer commutes. The neighborhood has solid road and highway access with Cuming Road running less than a mile to the west while residents can merge onto the North Freeway a mile to the west. Eppley Airfield also sits 5 miles east along the Missouri River.
Students are served by the Omaha Public School District
Students in Clifton Hills are served by the Omaha Public Schools district. Children may go to King Elementary School before moving on to Monroe Middle School. Both schools earn an overall grade of C-minus from Niche. Teens can attend Benson Magnet High School off Maple Street. Earning an overall Niche grade of C, the high school offers a wide range of extracurricular clubs and organizations from Future Business Leaders of America to JROTC.

More shopping options can be found at Midtown Crossing, which serves as a hub for outdoor entertainment throughout the year. For a night on the town, residents are in proximity to several renowned local eateries. Cajun Kitchen off North 30th Street is a neighborhood favorite for its catfish and ribs while locals frequent Nifty Bar to play pool and catch the big game. For soul food, Big Mama's Kitchen and Catering is the place to go, known for its fried chicken, catfish and mac and cheese.
