Depending on address, young students can attend Cottonwood Elementary, which scores an A-minus on Niche, or Aldrich Elementary, which scores an A. In 2001, Millard North became the first school in Nebraska to earn authorization for the International Baccalaureate Diploma Program. Suburban convenience appeals to residents of Fountain Hills-Pacific Meadows. “The biggest thing is it’s conveniently located,” Mueller says of the neighborhood, “local parks, schools, retail.” Commuters appreciate access to major thoroughfares. “It’s really close to the Dodge Corridor, the main east-west corridor in the city,” Mueller says, making drives into downtown and access to Interstate 680 direct and easy.
Festivals, markets, and concerts arriving soon
The Heartwood Preserve Amphitheater, with an expected capacity of 5,000, will provide a venue for touring performers upon completion. Heartwood Park, at the center of the development, also plans to host festivals, markets and seasonal events.
