Young athletes flock to Bryce Canyon South's Carty Park, where the Mermaids Softball League practices and plays. With more than 3 billion bananas being imported annually, Port Hueneme hosts a popular Banana Festival each September. Festivalgoers can experience port tours, live bands and a kid zone. There’s also the Hueneme Beach Festival in August, which offers live music, food and exhibitions.
