Peaceful living in a northwest St. Louis community
Only 10 miles outside St. Louis, Pasadena Park offers a planned community reminiscent of a fairytale with signature bungalows along tree-lined streets. “Pasadena Park is super tight with maintaining the historical integrity of their homes,” explains Lisa Davis of Berkshire Hathaway Select Properties, an agent with three years of experience in the St. Louis metropolitan market currently listing properties in the area. Though the neighborhood maintains a quaint and quiet feel, downtown St. Louis sits just 10 miles away, reachable by both train and interstate.
Relatively affordable Pasadena Park homes with historical charm
Sidewalks border each narrow street, the concrete shaded by mature trees. “The streets are kind of windy and one way, so sometimes it can be a little bit of a maze to get through, but the streets are super cute,” Davis says. Most bungalows in the neighborhood range from 900 square feet to 1,500 square feet and feature two to three bedrooms—more compact than houses in neighboring Pasadena Hills. “Houses have tons of character. They’re brick, and some have arched doorways, brick porches and older style roofs,” Davis expands. Most turnkey homes in the community cost between $100,000 and $150,000, over $100,000 less than houses in bordering communities.
