Walkability is an asset in North Perris
In North Perris, a commute to school or a trip to the park can be as simple as a stroll out the front door. This pocket of Perris is made up mostly of sidewalk-lined residential streets that connect residents to multiple nearby schools and recreation spaces. “You see a lot of kids walking to school on the north side,” says Eduardo Franco, a Realtor with Alticore Realty, who has more than 20 years of industry experience. People in this part of Perris, just 20 miles from Riverside, are also a quick car ride from the shopping and dining options at the center of town.

Perris’ Linear Park also runs through North Perris and features another trail. “A lot of folks enjoy the trails,” Franco says. The Lake Perris State Recreation Area is popular, Franco says, and not just for the music festivals. “You can go swimming, get boats, Jet Skis,” Franco says. “They do have a camping area that tends to get filled up in the summer. They’ve got trails. They even have horse trails as well.” Visitors don’t have to bring their own watercraft to the lake, either, because rentals are available.
