An upscale community close to Houston

Sitting 14 miles west of downtown Houston, Piney Point Village is known as "one of the wealthiest neighborhoods in Texas," with houses starting at $900,000 and going up to $6 million for custom-designed properties. "It's a very upscale community, very private, beautiful, and friendly — you will definitely run into your neighbors when jogging," says Katie Wu, a Houston resident of over 20 years. Wu explains that despite existing in Harris County as a little "island city," Piney Point "blends into the surrounding city nicely; you can't even tell if it weren't for the sign by the side of the road announcing the neighborhood." Residents here have access to several parks, restaurants and the rest of everything Houston has to offer.
