Waterfront views by the U.S./Canada border

Sitting on the border of the United States and Canada, Port Huron has waterfront views, popular restaurants, and plenty to do. Lake Huron provides the city its name, and the parks, waterways, and museums provide its character. It's a quiet, mostly residential city with a dining and shopping district near the Saint Clair River. The river and Lake Huron are the big draws for homebuyers, and much of the city's recreation centers are around the water.

It's also a hub for plenty of community events, like a popular holiday light show. Residents also enjoy the Huron Lightship Museum, which is located right near the park and perfect for lighting up an afternoon. The Blue Water River Walk stretches up and down for a mile along the Saint Clair River, and two parks, Heritage and Wetlands County, cap each end of the trail. For views of Lake Huron, residents enjoy lounging at Lighthouse Beach, which is also the site of the iconic Gratiot Lighthouse, Michigan's oldest lighthouse.
