Walmart Supercenter provides groceries and several local businesses are available for specialized shopping. Since 1975, Oriental Gifts and Food has been a one-stop shop for Asian goods in Post Falls. Cabela’s stocks outdoor gear for nearly every outdoor activity popular in northern Idaho, from hunting and shooting to fishing and boating. TPI Embroidery makes custom apparel like t-shirts, hats and sportswear while Discount Days Bargain Store offers returned and overstock items from various stores. Treasure Towne rotates a collection of antiques, collectibles and flea market finds. Store owner and Post Falls resident Gloria Nichols says, "We're a women-owned vendor mall, and we have a little bit of something for everybody. Every spot and booth in the store is rented out to a different vendor." Nichols also talks about the store's convenient location. "Because we are right off the highway by Exit 2, we get a lot of travelers and truck drivers. I like that we're in a little pocket away from the downtown businesses. This area needs more to draw people in, but I think there some good things coming to Post Falls in the future."

Post Falls schools are rated B-minus or higher
Students may attend schools in the Post Falls School District. Seltice Elementary School and River City Middle School are both rated B-minus by Niche. Post Falls High School is rated B and is home to student organizations like the Kindness Club, the Trojan Needlework Club and the Forestry Team.
Seltice Elementary serves students in the central Post Falls community.

Riverbend parks and the Spokane River
Woodbridge Park encourages outdoor play with its two soccer fields and playground. Just outside Riverbend, Corbin Park sits along the Spokane River, where outdoor adventurers can raft, kayak and fish. The park also has areas for volleyball, disc golf and picnics.
