Hilly suburban enclave in East Bay's Richmond community
El Sobrante Hills, located in Northern California’s East Bay, is an affluent neighborhood named after its location in the scenic rolling hillsides of east Richmond. El Sobrante Hills is known for its spacious, well-kept homes and relaxed residential setting. Residents are drawn to the area for its secluded feel while still being close to public schools and commercial areas and still being within commuting distance to major Bay Area destinations. “The biggest thing about living here is it’s kind of like living in the country, where it’s almost like a rural feel, especially for some parts that are further into the hills, but yet you are still close to the city,” says Joe Reichert, a local Realtor for 17 years with Keller Williams Realty and lifelong Bay Area resident. “The weather is so nice and mild year-round, too, and there are also many beautiful homes here, which is one of its major appeals.”
