As one of the oldest communities in Roberts, Wisconsin, the village of Warren dates back to the 1800s when pioneers from New York and New England first settled it. The St. Croix County village grew rapidly in the late 19th century, thanks to its location along the West Wisconsin Railroad. Today, Warren is a thriving community with a strong economy and a high quality of life. The village was founded in 1873 by the chief engineer for the West Wisconsin Railroad and named in his honor. Warren quickly grew into a thriving agricultural community and by the early 1900s, it was home to a number of businesses and industries, including a creamery, a flour mill and a lumber mill. Warren is home to a number of historic buildings and homes, many of which are still in use today.

There are a number of offshore lake homes in the village, offering residents the opportunity to enjoy the beauty of the Wisconsin countryside. Many of the homes were built in the late 19th and early 20th centuries, reflecting different architectural styles, including Victorian and Colonial. Victorian houses are typically characterized by their ornate trim, wraparound porches and bay windows. New development houses in Warren are typically single-story or two-stories and also have different, more modern architectural styles. The price range of houses in the village of Warren is $200,000 to $500,000. The residential streets of the village of Warren are quiet and tree lined. In other more rural parts of the village, residents get generous amounts of land with their house purchase. Most homes have at least one acre of property. Whether you're looking for a quiet place to raise a family or a vibrant community to retire.”
