Three unique malls
The shopping doesn’t stop with three major malls all inside the neighborhood limits. The Fountains at Roseville is full of higher-end shops with a Whole Foods for grocery shopping. The mall is also home to India Oven, which serves up authentic dishes. The Ridge at Creekside has specialty stores like David’s Bridal and jewelry shops to go with plenty of nationally recognized chain restaurants. Galleria at Roseville has everything a shopper could want, with over 100 stores. Shoes, furniture and plenty of fashion outlets make up the massive mall, which includes a movie theater. When hungry, shoppers can grab something from the food court or sit down for a meal at Ruby Thai or Ruth’s Chris Steakhouse.Cool off at Golfland Sunsplash
The fun doesn’t stop at Golfland Sunsplash, a massive amusement park. Golfland Sunsplash is great for parties or family outings with a large arcade, bumper cars, mini golf and laser tag. The main attraction is the large water park featuring over 30 different slides and thrill rides, which serve as a great place to cool off in the summer. For more recreation and relaxation, VillaSport Athletic Club and Spa has a fitness area, basketball leagues and tennis courts. In addition, VillaSport has swimming pools and a full spa. The courts at Gibson Park host pickleball players, and there are plenty of other parks with playgrounds in the area.Excellent Roseville schools
Kids in Harding attend the highly rated Roseville City Elementary Schools, beginning at Stoneridge Elementary, which has an A rating on Niche. Next is a trip to Warren T. Eich Middle School, which also earns an A from Niche. Eich Middle was named the seventh-best middle school in Placer County and was noted for its diverse student population and excellent teachers. Roseville High is a part of the Roseville Joint Union High School District and has an A-minus Niche grade, with high ranks in college prep. “A lot of people are moving here from the Bay Area because it’s more affordable and close to a lot of job markets. Roseville backs up to Interstate 80, which provides quick access for locals to get to nearby cities like Rocklin and Sacramento. The major highway also provides routes to the Bay Area and north to Reno. Those who wish to take public transportation can hop on Roseville Transit buses, which have frequent stops along Pleasant Grove Boulevard and Roseville Parkway.Condos communities
There are modern, Craftsman-style homes with attached garages and private yards along Gibson Drive, which typically range from $500,000 to $700,000. With over 70% of the residents renting, it’s no surprise that apartments, condos and townhomes are the most prevalent types of housing. Most of the multi-family complexes are gated communities that offer amenities like outdoor swimming pools, fitness rooms and play areas for children. Most were built in the last two decades, with units ranging from one to three bedrooms. A two-bedroom condo typically costs around $350,000 to $450,000.
