Marconi North is a midcentury suburb in high demand thanks to Del Paso Country Club, a prestigious private golf course in the neighborhood’s corner. The community’s ranch-style homes, especially those closer to the club, tend to have larger lots and modern renovations that draw buyers and make for a competitive market. You'll also benefit from a central location, with freeway access and nearby shopping at Town & Country Village.
Ranch-style homes make up most of the neighborhood, set along shady streets with wide sidewalks and larger lots than many other neighborhoods in Sacramento. “They’re midcentury homes, but the majority have gone through remodeling and are completely modern," says Lisa Bewley of Elk Grove Real Estate & Development Company, who has nearly two decades of experience in the area. Prices generally range from the mid-$300,000s to the mid-$700,000s, with renovated properties fetching higher prices. Properties with more than a half-acre, though rare, can sell for as much as $1.1 million. Dense tree cover blocks any views of the country club, but that hasn't stopped people from wanting to be close by. “People want to have the distinction of living near a country club, so there's tons of competition in this market,” Bewley says.
Marconi North is a popular area with families, partially because the San Juan Unified School District covers the neighborhood. “All the schools in the area are amazing, and the location is such a huge draw,” says Kaelee Cornell, a Sacramento native and real estate agent with Exp Realty. The highly rated Mira Loma High School is one of the most sought-after options in the district, offering several International Baccalaureate programs, along with foreign language classes in Mandarin and Japanese. The school’s International Studies program spans four years and includes rigorous interdisciplinary coursework. For extracurriculars, football is a big part of the school’s culture, along with other sports like tennis and cross-country.
The Del Paso Country Club’s biggest draw is its private 18-hole golf course, which hosts junior clinics and tournaments each year. Members also have access to other amenities like the club’s pool and on-site restaurants. Aside from Del Paso Country Club, you can visit Seely Park for fields and playgrounds, or head to Bohemian Park to play tennis. Del Norte Club, a private swim and tennis club, is just a few blocks east of the neighborhood and offers fitness programs and summer camps.

Marconi North is just a block south of the Capital City Freeway. You'll have quick access to Downtown Sacramento, less than 10 miles to the south, and Roseville, less than 15 miles to the north.
