Robla

The remodeled homes of Robla
Robla is primarily residential with small, bungalow-style single-family homes. Homes in Robla tend to go for anywhere from $300,000 to $500,000. However, there is currently an anomaly to Robla's housing prices. "There is currently 35 acres for sale for $8.5 million. It's agricultural land that is mixed zoning, meaning multifamily units could be built on it, which you could use as an investment opportunity," says Ashlynn Fresques, a sales associate with Coldwell Banker and Sacramento native. Many homes in the neighborhood have been remolded or newly built. Older homes were built between the 1950s and 1980s. Homes with manicured, lush front lawns sit on lot sizes of at least 1000 square feet, if not larger. Some backyards have in-ground pools, perfect for hot California weather.Learning academies at Grant Union High
Several elementary schools, a few middle schools and a couple of high schools in the Twin Rivers Unified School District serve the Robla community. One option for the neighborhood's youngest learners is Robla Elementary School, with an overall B-minus rating from Niche. From there, students can attend Norwood Junior High School, which has an overall B-minus rating from Niche. High schoolers can attend Grant Union High School, where they can participate in several academies, including the A.R.T.S Academy (Art, Tech, Rhythm and Stage), the Criminal Justice Magnet Academy and the Environmental Science Academy. Grant Union High School has an overall B rating.Getting outside in Robla

Locals can also park a picnic and enjoy it at Robert Brookins Park. It's also where locals can bring their four-legged pals. And at Charles Robertson Park, residents can cool off on the park's water features or play basketball, soccer or baseball in the respective athletic areas. Charles Robertson Park covers nearly 10 acres and has a skatepark where locals of all ages work on tricks and skate together. At the park's Robertson Community Center, residents can socialize, learn new skills and play. Hagginwood Park, which is nearly 16 acres, features an all-weather soccer field and a community center.Torta food trucks and Pupusas Central

Locals rave about the food, calling the tacos the best of the town. There's also Bing's Market, where residents can find some of the freshest cuts of meat in the area. Robla residents can find all their everyday essentials and other small shops at the Norwood Center, including Viva Supermarket, for all their grocery needs. A bit further, residents can enjoy classic Mexican cuisine at El Pollo Loco or authentic Salvadoran food at Pupusas Central.Commuting from Robla
