Downtown San Antonio
Homes in Downtown San Antonio
Homes in Downtown San Antonio tend to be older two-story buildings in the National or colonial styles. Properties start at around $350,000 and reach up to $750,000. Residential sections of this area border the commercial section in the center of the city. "You can really find it all in this area," says Inaky Strick, a Realtor with Kuper Sotheby's International Realty and a nearly lifelong Texas resident. "San Antonio has a mix of architectural styles." Streets are lined with sidewalks and more trees than one might expect to find in the Texas heat. Many of the old houses in the area have been turned into offices for local businesses, but several are still residential. This mix of housing use is one of the area's unique and desirable features.
