Home of San Francisco’s tallest skyscrapers and national baseball stadium
The booming South Beach district is surrounded by skyscrapers that define the San Francisco skyline. “In South Beach, you are looking up everywhere,” says Jonathan Ng, a local Real Broker Associate who was born and raised in San Francisco. “It’s all high rises and is more becoming like the city’s downtown.” Located south of the city's Financial District along the San Francisco Bay shoreline, high-rise luxury condos are interspersed with the offices of major companies such as Salesforce, Google, KPMG and Deloitte. “People who need that newness or people used to city life, especially those coming from New York City, often gravitate towards South Beach,” Ng says. But the district is more than just a major metropolitan hub and job center. Bayside parks, a major league baseball stadium, marinas and fishing piers by the water make this a popular place to relax, unwind and enjoy some of the city’s most admired recreational sites.
