River offers a suburban feel with convenience
Despite its name, San Jacinto's River neighborhood has no reservoirs; instead, it's mostly desert and farmland, backdropped by mountain views. Mt. San Jacinto College sits next door, downtown amenities are nearby, and a popular resort operates 5 miles down the road. "The biggest draw in San Jacinto itself would be Soboba Casino Resort," says Dave Hume with Vogler Feigen Realty, who has sold in the area since 2018. "The spectacular Soboba Springs Golf Course also hosts large professional qualifiers and amateur events," he says. Residents enjoy entertainment at Soboba and a diverse landscape for outdoor recreation, all at a relatively low price point for Riverside County.

Potter Ranch and Sky View parks have similar amenities nearby, and hikers and campers head about 25 miles away to Mount San Jacinto State Park. Hume says that Soboba Casino Resort has 21 new pickleball courts, and an outdoor pool with cabanas and a bar. The resort is home to the public Soboba Springs Golf Course, and the public Golden Era Golf Course is also right outside the neighborhood. Valley-Wide Regional Park off Esplanade Avenue is another hub for outdoor activities. "It's a large family park with covered picnic areas, playgrounds, sports fields and basketball, volleyball and tennis courts," Hume says.
