Almaden Expressway runs through Almaden Lake. “All the areas are going to be high traffic,” Casey says. “But you really don’t need a car; you can get around. It’s close to everything. And there’s a bus service.” Local Valley Transportation Authority bus routes stop throughout the neighborhood, and Good Samaritan Hospital and Kaiser Permanente San Jose Medical Center are less than 5 miles away. Almaden Lake is about 10 miles south of San Jose Mineta International Airport.
