Residents are within walking distance of Glenview Park, just south of the neighborhood, a community green space with a playground, picnic area and walking paths. Also nearby is Almaden Golf & Country Club, a private, members-only club built in the 1950s. The club has hosted numerous PGA and LPGA tournaments over the years, desired for its pristine greens, gorgeous mountain views and scenic surroundings. The Santa Cruz Mountains are a local hotspot for hiking, biking and outdoor recreation. Schools are a major draw for prospective homebuyers moving to Almaden Valley, and the area has some of the highest rated public schools in all of San Jose. Students can start at Williams Elementary School, which gets an A rating from Niche.
