Contemporary and ranch-style homes built in the early 1970s, along with some newer Spanish Mission-style homes, line the cul-de-sacs of Saint Victor. Saint Victor borders Penitencia Creek Park, which has a playground, pond, track, baseball field and community center. The Berryessa Community Center offers youth summer camps, after school programs and adult fitness classes. The Penitencia Creek Trail goes through the park, stretching for about 4 miles through neighborhoods and trees. Joggers and bikers can take this paved path eastward up the foothills of the Diablo Range, where they can find other trails and lookout points. Nearby access to Interstate 680, light rail stations and VTA bus stops

Within a mile of the neighborhood, drivers can access Interstate 680, which goes downtown and north toward Fremont. There are several light rail stations along North Capitol Avenue; the closest to Saint Victor is the Berryessa station on the Orange Line, which arcs across northern San Jose, stopping by the Cisco and Lockheed Martin campuses. Valley Transportation Authority buses take passengers from Saint Victor throughout the city, stopping at the Berryessa light rail station and the downtown Civic Center Station.
