Neighborhood streets are lined with trees and sidewalks, creating a cozy, suburban feel. “It’s one of the original suburbs of downtown San Jose,” says Shannon Farrell, who is the VP of operations at BRG Realty with nearly 20 years of experience. “There are more condos and duplexes in that area, and you’ll find older homes with deep roots there.” Single-family homes generally range from $1.2 million to $2.6 million. Condos are between the upper $400,000s and the lower $600,000s. Townhouses hover around $900,000 to $1.1 million, while duplexes are around $2 million. Some condos and townhouses have monthly HOA fees, covering amenities like landscaping and common area facilities.
