Convenient San Leandro community next to the San Francisco Bay
Mulford Gardens is a pocket of San Leandro, where the neighborhood’s western section is residential, and the eastern side is commercial and light industrial. This, according to Michelle Junsay, a Bay-area Realtor with Realty One Group Future, can sometimes deter potential homebuyers looking for more of a strictly residential area. “But if you don’t check it out, you won’t see the beauty of it,” Junsay says. That beauty can be found in places like the neighborhood’s San Leandro Marina, which is located along the still water of the San Francisco Bay, or it can be found in the neighborhood’s convenient location. “It’s close to the hospital, the Oakland Airport, the Alameda Industrial Park. It’s close to the 880 and 580 freeways,” Junsay says. “It’s in such a good location.”
