Midcentury Modern homes in Morning Sunwood
Most of Morning Sunwood's housing stock was built in the 1960s and 1970s. The neighborhood is comprised of midcentury modern homes with distinct clean lines and low-pitched roofs. This neighborhood is one of the smaller Santa Ana communities and is removed from busier districts, Morning Sunwood’s streets are generally quieter and that attracts an array of residents. “New and established buyers are interested in the neighborhood,” says Jose Samano, a real estate agent with Real Brokerage Technologies. “You can find a range of homes across different price points.” Condo communities are common in Morning Sunwood and offer amenities like private pools and tennis courts. These generally sell between $375,000 and $640,000. Most single-family homes were developed with classic layouts, such as ranch-styles and split levels, selling from $820,000 to $1.4 million. “In this market, the options available here are priceless to homebuyers,” says Tuesday Figueroa, a Realtor with Realty One Group Anaheim.Shopping and dining around Bristol Street and South Coast Plaza
Morning Sunwood is only 2 miles from South Coast Metro, one of Santa Ana’s most robust commercial districts. “It’s world-class shopping and dining,” says Samano. “Being close to South Coast Plaza and Bristol Street is definitely appealing to buyers.” South Coast Plaza is the largest mall on the West Coast, with its expansive shopping complex offering luxury retailers like Hermes and Christian Louboutin to more familiar retailers such as Abercrombie and Fitch. South Coast Plaza is also home to fine and casual dining. At Bristol Plaza, residents can shop at big box stores like Target and grocery stores like Trader Joe’s. A number of restaurants line Bristol Street, from sit-down spots like Pho Crystal Noodle House and Kaisen Kaiten to chain options like Black Bear Diner and In-N-Out. Closer to home on Fairview Avenue, residents can dine out at Duke's Charbroiler or Costa Azul or pick up dinner from Pizza Hut.Commuters can quickly access interstate and airport
Samano says buyers are attracted to the location as they are close to freeways and major employment centers without being in the middle of the action. South Coast Metro and Downtown Santa Ana are both within 5 miles of the neighborhood. Residents generally drive, and access to Interstate 405 is a sought-after amenity. Garden Grove is 6 miles north, and Anaheim is just over 10. The John Wayne Airport is 6 miles south.Kids attend Santa Ana Unified Schools
