Suburban neighborhoods in a woodsy, riverfront area

Most of the homes in Seven Mile fill subdivisions stemming from Nine Mile Road. Buyers can find everything from attached townhouse condos to detached New Traditional homes with sleek, luxury interiors. There are also many kinds of homes built on pine-canopied roads closer to the Spokane River. “Although some of the homes in Seven Mile can be on a little bit of acreage, a lot are on standard lots,” says Kelli Johnson, a broker with Home Sales Spokane who’s served Washington and Idaho for more than 16 years. “But it still feels a little bit more rural, a little bit more removed from Spokane.”

Single-family homes sell from the mid-$400,000s to the mid-$700,000s. Condos sell from the upper $200,000s to the lower $300,000s. Seven Mile has a median single-family home price in the lower $500,000s. That’s higher than neighboring North Indian Trail, South Indian Trail and Northwest Spokane.

A community rich with nature-lovers and outdoor recreation

"Seven Mile appeals to people who like more outdoorsy activities,” Johnson says. “When you head out that way, you’re heading out to many places where people can hike, camp or do some kind of activity for the weekend.” Riverside State Park gives you many ways to meet neighbors and other nature-lovers close to home. You can head to the park to attend events like group bird-watching hikes or paddleboarding trips guided by park rangers.
