Spanish-influenced homes along Valley Oak's wide streets
New Traditional, Craftsman and ranch-style homes with Spanish Revival influences huddle close together along Valley Oak’s wide streets. Residents can take evening strolls along the sidewalks, which sit right along the curb. While front yards are often just a small square of grass, residents add personal touches to properties by planting trees here or putting up fences and hedges between them and their neighbors. Cypress trees rise over the single-story homes, adding a touch of green to the landscape. Homes across Valley Oak typically sell between $350,000 and $650,000, with the more recent builds and New Traditionals pricing on the higher end of the range.Health programs through Ronald McNair High School

Those on the Lodi side can attend a number of elementary schools for kindergarten through sixth grade, including Westwood Elementary School. Morada Middle School serves a large portion of the students on this side of Valley Oak. Both schools earn B-minus rankings from Niche. At B-rated Ronald E. It receives a B from Niche. After, students continue on to Cesar Chavez High School, which offers Career and Technical Education pathways for business management, software development and law. It earns a B-minus ranking.

Neighborhood parks like Cortez Park are smaller residential parks, walkable from the surrounding homes, offering playgrounds, basketball and tennis courts and walking paths. “There’s Stockton Soccer Complex, and all the kids go there to play soccer,” says Realtor Lance McHan with Lance McHan. The park offers six adult and six youth fields, and while it hosts local leagues, groups can also gather here to play a quick game. There are plenty of spots for spectators to watch their children and friends play, and the new playground here helps keep younger kids entertainedUnique burger options and taco joints around Valley Oak
